Flint is an old soul in a 25-year-old body, who is an independent thinker, well-read, dishes interesting perspectives on everything from health, resilience, values, achieving greatness and being true to yourself. He draws inspiration from people like Ralph Waldo Emerson and Ansel Adams and encourages readers to take chances, choose friends and peers wisely and embrace moments alone. Through personal experiences and timely references, the author makes you think and reexamine your own life. He is thoughtful, candid and his adventures draw you in. Flint Mitchell is a research scientist and outdoorsman from the Bay Area, California. He has a degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University, a couple of published patents, and a podcast.
He is a self-proclaimed expert of several things: overanalyzing the minutia of the natural world around him, watching sunrises, and smiling. In his free time, you’ll find Flint paddling in the ocean, reading a book, hiking his way out of cell service, or sitting next to a grill.
